Long time PSLARA member Dick Cassada W4DAC (SK) passed away on July 24th, 2022. Dick served the club for many years in various capacities as an officer, voluneteer examiner and member.

Dick was well known to Treasure Coast hams. There will be a condolence card to sign at the PSLARA table at the Ft Pierce Hamfest, August 13th, 2002.

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our President Ken Lenz, WA4ABR.  Ken was PSLARA club president for 2022.  Ken had been a PSLARA director for many years prior to accepting the presidency.  He also served in past years as vice-president and chair of the program committee.  Recently, Ken had been working on improving his CW skills, as well as increasing his activity on FT8 and working toward DXCC status.  Ken was also active in the Lake Charles community where he resided.  Please remember the Lenz family in your prayers.  Here is a link to his obituary:

The twice weelky CW training net is taking some time off.  Paul, W4ISZ has been hosting the net for the past five years.  During that time, numerous hams have learned CW or improved their CW proficiency.  With summer upon us participation has decreased, so it was decided to stand down the net for a while.  If demand warrants it the CW net may return at some future date.  Thanks Paul for hosting this net for so many years.  Watch this page for any future announcements.
